Virtual School Library
Free reading and writing activities from your favourite childrens’ authors from the National Literacy Trust.
Almost 10,000 free lessons and resources. Made by teachers, for every teacher and every pupil.
The Literacy Shed - the home of visual literacy. At the Literacy Shed they aim to provide teachers with high quality films and animations that can be used in the primary classroom to enhance the teaching of reading and writing.
Maths resources and games for for ages 3–11. Choose your activity/skill that you want to practice.
Whether you are at home or at school, you can use BBC Teach for free. This website is home to thousands of free curriculum-mapped videos, arranged by age-group and subject.
Learning outside the classroom is integral to any child's development.
We primarily use two resources to provide learning for children when they are away from school:
Class Dojo is online tool we use to communicate with parents. The Whole School and Class stories allow us to share with parents what is happening at school.
During this time of extended abscence from school, we will be uploading tasks that the children can complete:-
Monday - along with the reading , writing and maths daily activities and questions children will also be given weekly spellings, a science task and theme task to be completed throughout the week.
Tuesday - reading , writing and maths daily activities and questions
Wednesday - reading , writing and maths daily activities and questions
Thursday - reading , writing and maths daily activities and questions
Friday - reading , writing and maths daily activities and questions
j2 launch is an online, fun and creative environment supplied through the London Grid for Learning (LGFL). Every child has a username and password that allows them to access a range of different tools and programmes that can help with your child's/children's learning.
The j2e Tool Suite is a collection of online educational tools specifically designed to engage, motivate and inspire. j2e is an online, fun, creative environment. Text, graphics, animations, sounds, videos, and embedded objects can be combined on a single web page, with unlimited storage for files and the ability to blog at the click of a button.
